The Black Dog Archers club was set up to promote  and develop the pastime of field archery, we are based in Carrigaline co Cork.

We shoot every weekend as well as holding training workshops twice a month.
As a field Archery Club we emphasise all styles of bow from the primitive to the high tech.

We have an international level 14 target 2D course that is laid out in a trail within our woods. We host run a hunter trail of ten 3D targets on a more informal basis once a month or so; we also practice the ancient game of clout shooting (shooting at a cloth flag at a distance of 180 yards), a very impressive sight.

We are recognised by I.F.A.F , Irish Field Archery Association which is affiliated to International Field Archery Association . This allows our members participate in both national and international Field Archery events.
